How it works.
First, watch the exercise videos and practise the movements. Each will test you in different ways. You may feel stiff or weak with some of them but that’s ok. Don’t worry about mastering them or doing them quick at this stage, just focus on technique and understanding how your body feels while performing them. Don’t be suprised if you’re out of breath even doing them slowly, this is a sign of how effective the ZUU bodyweight training system is.
Once you’ve practise and feel you’re ready to start, set a date in the calendar that you will commit to doing 30 days back to back with no rest days. Make a commitment to yourself. Don’t stress about overtraining as these are only 20min sessions that can be performed from home. This 30 days is about getting you on the road to a healthier, fitter and more resilient version of yourself.
Nathan recommends doing these workouts before work (yes even if you start at 6am!) because too many think they’ll do it after work but many fail in the first week to stay consistent. Maybe that’s been you in the past? That’s why committing to yourself for 30 days straight is such an important thing to do. Perhaps you can get a mate to join you for the 30 days to motivate each other!
Finally these workouts are time based. This means you go at your pace. If you can do 15 reps in 20 sec fantastic. Or if you can do 4 reps in 20 sec fantastic. All that matters is that you do the best you can do on each day. Strive to improve and ZUU will do the rest for you!
